The Medicine Keepers

This gentle yet powerful Shamanic purification ceremony is a rite of passage. It is an initiation for entrance into oneself on a healing path of self discovery or many just come for the experience of cleansing. You do not need to be on a shamanic path to enjoy this ceremony, it is open to all.
 
This original intimate form of ceremony is designed to purify, cleanse and release, helping to clear emotional and physical impurities from the body and energy field.

Those who enter the Hummingbird lodge have come together for a common purpose, allowing a great sense of togetherness and belonging whilst allowing the heat (similar to a sauna) to purify them and heal them in ways they never knew were possible.
The union of all the participants within the lodge creates a loving friendship of intimacy not commonly found in today’s society.
Traditional rounds of ceremony are held within the lodge providing a wonderful, sacred, loving space for healing, releasing, open heart discussions and re-birth.
My lodge has a beautiful magical energy and she holds all her participants with love and gentleness, allowing the warmth of the grandfather rocks and magic of sacred ceremony to provide love and healing.

The entire day is spent in ceremony and i often share teachings and healings from my shamanic path, no shamanic experience is required and you can come from any walk of life , just bring an open mind and a willingness to accept love, a smile is always welcome also.

I request that you fast from midnight the night before the lodge. (If you are pregnant or a diabetic or you have a medical condition then please eat fruit, this ceremony is about love and healing not suffering) it will not affect the ceremony if you eat fruit. Tea & coffee are permitted

Fresh Food is cooked on the fire for sharing after the main lodge ceremony, usually we create a peruvian vegetarian stew. ( worth comming for, very yummy! )

 Please bring a blanket and a stone for the ceremony work before the lodge. Swimwear is ideal for inside the lodge although it is likely to get muddy! All will need a towel, and I always recommend a change of clothes for after the lodge.

It is keeping within shamanic traditions that offerings of tobacco or cornmeal be brought for the blessing of the Grandfather rocks.( this can be provided )

No metal or jewellery is to be worn during the lodge.

We welcome you to bring any rattles and drums to play and ask that you come with a willingness to accept love and healing

I also ask for a donation of vegetables for the food share after the lodge.

Total cost is £60 Pounds for the entire day of ceremony.

A deposit of £30 pounds is required to secure your place, please add the date of the lodge to your payment in the message box. (see workshop page).
