Welcome to the Path of the Medicine Keepers. This wheel of shamanic development is designed so
  that all forms of shamanism can come together to sing one song of life.

  I will share with you so that you can grow develop and find the individual shaman within you, not by rules, dis-empowerment and suffering, shamanism is evolving and through your personal intuition and my support you will become part of the New Ancestors, the Earth Keepers and the Medicine Keepers

This Medicine wheel consists primarily of teachings from throughout Peru but includes traditions and ceremonies from North America and Mexico.

The Medicine Wheel training is held in four parts, South, West, North and East. Each direction holds different teachings and wisdom and enables you to further not only your own shamanic development and healing but your ability to heal others. You are under no obligation with this training to complete all 4 directions, in fact very few ever complete the teachings as the path of the Medicine Keeper/Shaman is no easy task and is not for the faint hearted as it will push you to release all that which no longer serves you, face your fears, follow your calling in life and be really living life no longer stalked by death. This course will present challenges and often changes that some may find difficult but all will benefit from. It is only through change in our life that we can move forward as nothing remains constant, so like the turning of the medicine wheel you will begin to grow as you walk the path of the Medicine Keeper.

You will begin your journey in the South which consists of a 5 day initial course and will be followed with a 3 month period of case studies and home development. For those wishing to continue their studies the option of walking into the West, then the North and finally the East is available. Each direction is a 5-6 day non residential course. There is no financial or personal pressure to complete the wheel and many people for different reasons only ever complete the South. The full Medicine Wheel development takes 18 months-2 years, held in 3 month intervals between the first 3 directions and then 6 months is spent between the North and East and 6 months to completion of the East.

18 months-2 years is merely a guideline and the earliest possible time for completion, I
however know that life circumstances are very changeable and therefore a financial
or personal commitment for the 18 months training may not be suitable for all, so once
you have completed a direction you will have the choice to book ANY future direction
and not the next dated course so long as they are taken in sequence, South then West
then North and then East. This gives you flexibility of a financial / personal nature

SOUTH 23rd-27th August 2011 or 5th-9th march 2012 or 4th-8th June 2012

Your journey begins here where you start to walk the Medicine wheel and with the help of an archetypal totem animal you will start shedding your past. You will learn the opening of sacred space, journeying for healing and start to develop a relationship with nature by working with herbs and flowers. You will learn practical healing techniques that will enable you to heal others from patterns and repeated behaviours and the wound imprints that hold them to the past. You will begin to create your own working medicine bundle/ Mesa, hold fire ceremonies and take part in a deep cleansing Sweat Lodge Ceremony and much more.
It is here that you begin to answer the call of the shaman that echo’s inside you as you walk side by side with the ancient traditions from around the world. Change, cleansing and releasing are all part of the South work and the letting go of the old. You will shed your skin as a serpent sheds and learn to walk softly upon the earth.

WEST 12th-16th December 2011 or 27th feb-2nd March 2012 or 9th-13th July 2012 10am-6pm

Your journey will continue into the shadows of the West accompanied by the totem archetype of the Jaguar. Here you begin to face your fears and learn to love your shadow self through discussion and exercises. You will learn the art of tracking and the releasing of spirit attachments/entities and negative energy. We will journey to the middle world for advice and you will learn a further practical healing technique to release past life threads that hold us bound to another dimension and still affect our lives today. You will experience a symbolic indoor funeral ceremony enabling death to no longer stalk you and the holding of 3 further fire ceremonies. Learn protection of your energy field, release secrets and skeletons and the creating of a black despacho for heavy releasing. Not following daily routine is called for here. You will take part in a fire walk at the end of the course under the supervision of a trained instructor. ** (subject to change).

The West is often one of the most challenging directions on the wheel due to the nature of facing fears and welcoming of the shadow self, so it is here that you begin the ways of the peaceful warrior, one who needs not to attack or defend and is no longer stalked by death or fear. One who has no secrets and is complete in dark and light.

The North embraces us with love and magic and is all about answering your calling of life. It is here you learn how to LIVE!The Hummingbird accompanies your journey here, teaching you all about the importance of ceremony and the ancient knowledge. Here you will learn the practical art of advanced soul retrieval and the importance of soul loss and how to recognise soul loss in clients and friends/family. You will learn the art of using a drum for journeying and then create a Despacho ceremony for abundance. Again build your medicine bundle further. You will discover and learn through fire how to release your roles in life so that you are no longer defined by them. (Mother, father, victim, healer etc) You will summon and walk towards your becoming and begin to discover your true purpose in life and how to bring that purpose and your dreams into manifestation. You will begin to realise the way of the impossible and that space / time has no boundaries, you will learn how to travel back into time with the art of journeying to heal your future and to meet your future self. You discover YOU have the power of choice You will take part in an all day or overnight vision quest where you will connect to the ancestors and discover your personal medicine in life and personal messages.
The North is a direction of magic and joy, despite the world of negativity around us . Be like the hummingbird and find joy in everything.
It is here that we are tested to really live in joy and really live in happiness being in the now.

Welcome to a new world as you step into becoming the New Ancestors

EAST 7th-11th November 2011 or 9th-13th April 2012 or 24th-28th September 2012 1st-5th December 2012 10am-6pm

Almost at the point of completion, the East stretches your mind and the limitations it has upon your life. Here you will release me as your teacher and take flight with the Eagle at your side as you journey through the last direction. Death and re-birth are top of the agenda in this direction and you will learn the art of the ancient Death rites and how to midwife someone to pass into the spirit world, releasing them from their body. You will begin to see the bigger picture of your life and no longer micromanage all the details, you will learn to trust. Believe in yourself and have confidence in your shamanic path. We will reflect on your entire medicine wheel journey for realisations and growth .Your medicine bundle will experience re-birth also and you will journey for your stories of your stones, not all will return. You will be required to take part in an all day & overnight full burial shamanic death ceremony where you will journey back through your life to complete your training.

For it is here in the completion of the East that your Medicine wheel journey really begins.
