The Medicine Keepers

All healing and ayahuasca ceremonies are held in a comfortable, safe enviroment and with the highest degree of sacred ceremony. Daily open heart circle will take place around breakfast time.

Day 1 We will collect you from Iquitos airport and transport you to Javiers retreat in the rainforest ( this transfer is taken first by road and then a 40min boat ride and then a 15 minute tuk tuk ride)
Welcome talk by Skie and then 1st meeting with Don Javier .Dinner and settle in. Early evening open circle

Day 2 Morning
Breakfast, Open circle, explanation of the various medicinal plants (chiri sanango, ajos sacha, guayusa , bobinsana, chacruna, ayahuasca) Preparation for the evening ayahuasca ceremony (questions and troubles and personal healing enquires)
Lunch
Afternoon free to relax or swim in the creek
8 pm: meeting in the casa ceremonial for the first ayahuasca ceremony.

Day 3 Morning
Breakfast, Open circle discussion about the first ayahuasca experience (explanation of visions)
baños de flores (flower bath in the river)
Lunch
Afternoon:
Demonstration of the preparation of ayahuasca , meeting with the shamans
Dinner

Day 4 Morning
Breakfast, open circle, baño de vapor (steam bath), teaching of the icaros
Lunch
Afternoon Jungle walks for medicine plants
8 pm: second ayahuasca ceremony in the casa ceremonial

Day 5 Morning
Breakfast, Open circle discussion, consult with the shaman, plant collection for the second baño de flores, plant preparation.
Lunch
Afternoon:
Walk in the forest to know the plants, baño de flores
Afternoon free
Dinner

Day 6 Morning:
Breakfast, Open circle ,teaching of icaros and making of the
shacapa rattle and Baño de flores (flower bath)
Lunch
Teachings with Skie
8pm: third ayahuasca ceremony in the casa ceremonial

Day 7 Morning:
Breakfast, Open circle,tour to the indigenous tribes Boras and Yaguas.
Lunch
Afternoon:
Meeting in the malloca ceremonial for consultation with the shaman.
Teaching lesson about plants with the shaman
Dinner

Day 8 Morning:
Breakfast. Trip up the Amazon to monkey island
Lunch on boat up amazon
Return around 5pm
8 pm: meeting in the maloca for the fourth ayahuasca ceremony.

Day 9 Morning:
Breakfast, Open circle, discussion on the ayahuasca ceremony
Medicinal plants medicaments preparation
Lunch
Afternoon:
Teaching of icaros and medicinal plants.
8 pm: fifth ayahuasca ceremony in the casa ceremonial

Day 10 Morning:
Breakfast, tranport to iquitos , free time in iquitos ( Belem Market,) Overnight accomodation in Iquitos you will leave Iquitos on day 11!
